AUGUSTINE, FL, January 8, 2020 – Carlisle Interconnect Technologies (CIT), a division of Carlisle Companies Incorporated (CSL), announced today that it will participate in two presentations at the upcoming DesignCon 2020 Expo in Santa Clara, California from Jan. 28-30. At Booth No. 514, the industry-leading interconnect technology solutions company will exhibit its CoreHCTM Ganged Interconnect System, a multi-port system that offers innovative solutions to maintain signal integrity.
CIT Signal Integrity Engineers Davi Correia and Raul Stavoli, both DesignCon 2019 best paper award winners, will host a boot camp session titled, “Under the Hood: Understand the Software that Drives Electromagnetic Simulation Tools,” to help attendees better understand numerical techniques, address information in an S-parameter file, and implementation of software tools used in the industry today. The boot camp takes place Jan. 28 from 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Additionally, Correia and Stavoli will join Emad Soubh, Director of Engineering, and Kelsey Fisher, Mechanical Engineer, for a technical session titled, “Evolution of PCIe: Hardware Components & How They Impact Past, Present & Future Standards,” that will explore how different components of PCIe standards impact performance for select PCIe protocols, Jan. 29 from 2:50 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
