AUGUSTINE, Fla., May 26, 2023 – Carlisle Interconnect Technologies (CarlisleIT), a division of Carlisle Companies (NYSE:CSL), will show its breadth of in-flight entertainment, satellite communications, and interiors interconnect solutions at this year’s Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) in Hamburg, Germany June 6-8. Most notably, among the products to be showcased at CarlisleIT’s exhibit (#4B40) will be a full-sized display of the FlightGear™ Ka1717 SATCOM installation platform.
The display will demonstrate key features of the Ka1717 platform, which is tailored to regional jets, single aisle, and VVIP aircraft to enable connectivity for passengers with high-bandwidth services through the duration of flight. It features a low-profile radome for reduced drag and a simplified adapter plate design to minimize weight, operational costs, and initial investment for operators. CarlisleIT provides customizable installation design, certification services, and kit manufacturing to support the integration of the system equipment provided by ThinKom.
